Saying I have an obsession with colors, patterns and textures is an understatement! My kids and hubby hate shopping with me because I stop to look at and touch anything I am drawn too - which is a lot!
I started So Tweet Designs back in 2012 with handmade cards as a way to use up the plethora of papers I had collected over the years. This slowly phased into mixed media art.
While I LOVED working with paper I felt like I had collected every design known to man and needed to find new pretty eye candy! I slowly started collecting fabric but had ZERO sewing knowledge. My husband politely mentioned that I had acquired "way too much fabric" and shouldn’t purchase anymore until I actually did something with it.
My first rag tie banner sold in 2013 and I soon added in coordinating headbands. As my fabric stash grew so did my desire to create new things and I added my first newborn pants to the shop in 2015 and it's been a whirlwind of fun new designs since then.
While I do all of the designs, customer service and shop updates, So Tweet Designs has an amazing tribe of ladies who help me to keep things running smoothly:
Mary Campbell has been working with So Tweet Designs since 2016. Not only is she my amazing sister-in-law but she rocks at helping me by remaking my headband designs which has allowed me to have the shop 100% RTS.
Sweelin Carroll has been working with So Tweet Designs since 2016. Sweelin is an amazing seamstress and helps me to keep up on sewing with all of the long sleeve rompers, hoodies, and other fun sets.
Jill Satterthwaite has been working with So Tweet Designs since 2018. Jill is an amazing seamstress and helps me to keep up on sewing with all of the awesome halter rompers, pants sets, sleepers and other romper styles.
Amber Russell has been working with So Tweet Designs since 2018. Amber is my awesome baby sister who helps me with all of the cute little pants, hat and pillow sham sets.
Kelzey Glazner started with So Tweet Designs in 2018 and is my super adorable daughter. Kelzey does all of the order packaging and tries to help me stay organized in the studio - which is no easy feat!!
I love the opportunity this business gives me to grow as an artists and the friends I have created from around the world. Thanks for joining me on this So Tweet journey - I can’t wait to see where it will take us next!
